Are you looking to put your mobile device to good use? Maybe you’re just looking for a way to pay that hefty cell phone bill that comes each and every month. Whatever the reason, you’ll be happy to know that there are several apps that can help you put a little more cash into savings each month. Here are five of the most user-friendly money makers out there:
1. Field Agent
Sadly, Field Agent is only available on iOS at this time, but hopes that the popular app will spread to the Android market are high. If you’ve always dreamed of being a secret shopper or just sharing your opinion, this is the app for you. Assignments are sometimes hard to come by, but when you find one in your area, they pay fairly well: between $3 and $12! Visit a store; take a photo or answer a set of questions and you’re good to go.
This amazing little app pays you for doing something you do every day: download apps! Sign up with your iPhone, or other Apple device, and download an app from the list given. Once the apps are downloaded and opened, you’ll receive payment. Free apps will net you a quarter a piece while paid apps will cover the cost of the app and a bit more. Once you’ve earned a dollar, you can transfer the money into your personal bank account.
3. Shopkick
Download this app onto your Apple or Android device, visit a few stores, scan a bar-code or two and earn some cash. Several stores are affiliated with the application and give users assignments: scan a product, scan an advertisement or even snap a photo and earn points. Once you’ve built up enough points, you can earn yourself a gift card to the store or significant discounts. While it may not be cold, hard cash, you’ll be able to use your gift card, instead of money, at stores you shop at frequently.
4. WeReward
Do you love snapping pictures of yourself and your adventures? Turn your love of photography into a money maker! Every time you take a photo of yourself with a specified product and download it to the app, you’ll find money in your PayPal account. You do have to purchase the products that are specified, but if these are products you use regularly, you’re actually being paid for your purchases and that’s not a bad deal!
This is another app that rewards users with gift cards and certificates to commonly shopped stores. Scan the bar-code of certain products and you can earn points; typically between ten and 50 per product. Those points can be turned into gift cards, with every 300 points equaling $1. The app also gives a virtual coin for every scan that can be used in the slot game; earning you even more money if your luck is right.
If you’ve got a mobile device, you might as well use it to your advantage. For many, a mobile device is little more than entertainment and a way to catch up with friends and family. With the myriad of money-making applications available, there’s no reason to not use your phone to your advantage!
