Have you ever opened a bag of Ruffles and found a potato chip that looks like James Earl Jones? Saw the image of Snoopy in your Trix Yogurt? Well, if you are like me and are way into things that look like other things, there are websites out there that cater to our fetish. I wish there was a list of them – oh wait, there is! Look below!

A fairly straightforward concept, this website asks the viewer, “Have you noticed that a lot of men over a certain age look at lot like country music superstar Kenny Rogers?” Although this question presupposes that there are indeed a lot of Kenny Rogers lookalikes out there, it goes on to back up its assertion with literally hundreds of photographs of men who really do look a lot like the man known for such hit songs as “The Gambler”. MWLLKR also features a “Kenny of the Month” page and tips on “How to Look Like Kenny”.

Perhaps the most well-known website about things that look like other things, Cats That Look Like Hitler has been ranking user-submitted pictures of their kitties since 2006. Most visitors to the site love it and many forward the URL to friends and family who have cats that may or may not look like the infamous dictator. Others who don’t seem to get the joke tend to become annoyed and even angered by the website, as the “Hate Mail” section will easily attest. At any rate, Cats That Look Like Hitler doesn’t appear to be going anywhere.

This website has a much larger scope and targets pictures of anything found out in the world that looks like a face without intentionally being designed as such. Although some pictures are a stretch, others are remarkable in terms of believability and the sheer range of emotions expressed. Circular windows set inside the arches of a stone building look like the eyes of an owl, a heat vent might look like an angry face with evil eyes, and a foreign power outlet can actually looked shocked.

Although it may be a patently offensive concept for a website on a variety of levels, that doesn’t keep it from being among the most popular on the Tumblr network and a perfect example of a well-executed “things that look like other things” website.

I Can Has Cheez Burger has done it again with their section of stuff that looks like other things. You may know it as the things that look like other stuff section. The site features such greats as “Jamie Hyneman Totally Looks Like a Walrus” and “This Guy Totally Looks Like Squillium”. If you are looking for a pear that looks like Grimmace or a diseased wart that looks like Edward James Olmos, this is your place.
