Stories written by lreavesLawrence J.T. Reaves - lawreaves@gmail.com - is a prolific freelance writer with experience in a number of different fields. Prior to obtaining his B.S. in Psychology from the University of the District of Columbia, Lawrence spent a number of years traveling the world as a freelance journalist. He worked for many different newspapers and magazines until he realized that he could write about all manner of things from the comfort of his own home. He settled outside of Richmond, Virginia, where he still resides with his wife Amelia and his three Dachshunds: Fritzy, Albert, and Delilah. Lawrence is an avid researcher, a man of multiple interests, and he has had his fair share of carpal tunnel syndrome. For recreation he enjoys taking his boat out on the lake, watching comedies with his wife, and visiting his 3 children (Penny, Max, and Jude – Amelia is a Beatles fan, obviously) and his many grandchildren.

A while back, I wrote an article about phobias of evil things, and I listed the fear of clowns (Coulrophobia) as one of them. I dared any clown enthusiast out there to give me a 5-bullet-point list on why they like clowns. Lucky for me, someone responded, and their comment was post-worthy, rather than comment-worthy, [...]

In 2007, eBay’s gross merchandise volume stood at about $59 billion. Lured by such huge numbers, competitors gradually [...]

We’ve searched the Web for the coolest…NO, the HOTTEST fireplaces out there. Sure, Spring is on its way, but that just gives you more time to plan and scheme for a way to get one of these beauties in your own home. In my own home, I have a more traditional fireplace mantel, from Agee [...]
