Vegas baby! But seriously what if you actually have little ones and are a family and want to have an awesome time in Las Vegas? Have no fear! Here are the ten coolest, most awesome things to do for those with little’uns.

1. See the Blue Man group at the Venetian Hotel

This fantastic group have performed all over the world and their show is a feast for the senses, with a hilarious demeanour and bright colours, it’s a music and lighting spectacular that the kids will love! Blue Man Group has been seen by thousands of people from all over the world and they all agree that they are a wildly creative and exciting performance group.

2. Ride the Manhattan Roller Coaster at New York, NY

This $17 ride lasts for almost 3 minutes! It’s a fantastically looping swerving and exhilarating ride that all the family will love, although children have to be at least 54 inches to ride. It also crazily goes right through the hotel itself and to get on the coaster you have to go through the ‘streets’ of NY in the hotel and the steaming man hole covers, you feel like you are actually a little in New York itself!

3. Swim with mermaids

At the Silverton hotel just off the main Vegas strip around 5 miles away, there is a free 117,000 gallon saltwater aquarium with 5000 fish at the Silverton Hotel, including actual mermaids! You definitely don’t see that every day and little ones will love the magical feeling of the place.

4. Dream at Le Reve at the Wynn

This amazing show is an acrobatic spectacular with a stage at the centre and seats around it; it’s perfect for those who are a little smaller. It will hold their attention the whole way through as it’s a fantastic show and also has a pool under the main stage which adds to the breath-taking stunts and circus-like tricks. 5. Be stunned by the Bellagio water fountain show

This free spectacle right on the Vegas central strip is a famous sight for all ages. The powerful water jets propel tonnes of water high into the Las Vegas air, with the design of the shows changing regularly you are never likely to see the same show twice form trip to trip. 6. KA show by Cirque de Soleil at MGM Grand

Cirque de Soleil is renowned around the globe for having a spectacular show every season and they have not disappointed with their latest offering at the MGM Grand. There are spectacular mind-blowing stunts that are an incredible example of human ability! Little ones will be in awe of all the amazing costumes the performers have and the fantastic sets will carry them away to a whole make-believe world.

7. Be chocoholics at M&M world

Also well-known around the world M&M World at Showcase Mall in Las Vegas is a fantastic ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ of sweet treats and colourful goodies that are sure to make kids feel like they’re in Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory!

8. See Aliens on Extra-terrestrial Highway (near area 51)

Infamous for being the highway to the US Government monitoring activity of suspected UFO’s and alien activity, it’s a perfect place to go for those little’uns who love space and aliens! You can even go to the A’Le’Inn along the highway for Alien themed food, souvenirs and spooky stories of the extra-terrestrial activity that they have witnessed. Even though it’s an hour or so drive outside of Las Vegas, it is well worth it to hire a car and make the journey as it’s guaranteed the kids will love it.

9. Venture to Adventuredome at Circus Circus

This hotel has a whole theme park within the hotel, with more than twenty rides to go on and three 4D cinema shows with Happy Feet, Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob Squarepants. For the older ones there is a log flume, roller coasters and bumper cars, this amazing self-contained theme park is definitely worth a visit for those action-seekers. Tickets start from $16.95 for those forty eight inches or smaller and $27.95 for those taller than that, this pass is for all day access to the park.

10. Encounter sharks in the desert!

At Mandalay bay the is a ginormous two million gallon, twenty two foot deep aquarium housing huge sharks, piranhas and 1,200 other species from all over the globe.Click here for more information. Kids will be amazed by all the different creatures and with the aquarium looking like a sunken lost world it will carry them away in make believe.
